Volunteers in Medicine is true to its name in that it is a volunteer-based medical clinic. Over 200 people volunteer their time each month to care for patients and every area of the Clinic— front desk, dispensary, administration and business office, IT, clinical— is heavily staffed with trained and dedicated volunteers. That said, there is a small, happy team of ten (8.5 FTE) that guide the work to be done and ensure that the volunteers have all the information and resources needed to fully implement our mission.
