When you become a patient at VIM, we look at all of your health needs. Many of our patients haven’t seen a dentist for a long time. If this is you, and you need dental care, we may be able to help.
What kind of dental care can I receive?
We host a mobile dental hygienist that cleans patient's teeth at VIM.
We also have access to a limited number of other procedures for patients. These include x-rays, extractions (the pulling of diseased teeth) and fillings. We are NOT able to provide root canals, crowns, or dentures at this time.
Is dental care provided at the VIM clinic?
Dental cleanings are taken care of at VIM. If a patient requires care beyond a cleaning, VIM has partnerships with local dentists in our community who are able to provide care beyond a dental cleaning.
These partner dentists will see a limited number of VIM patients each year. Patients receive care in the dentist's own office, and must be referred by VIM. This service is only available to current VIM patients.
Is there a fee?
Patients scheduled for a dental cleaning at the clinic are required to pay a $45 supply fee at the time the appointment is made. This helps pay for the dental materials needed for your appointment.
All of the partner dentists that work with VIM patients volunteer their time. This means the care provided to you is free. But we do ask patients to pay a $25 supply fee for each visit. This helps to pay for the dental materials needed for your appointment.
