At VIM, we know how to stretch a dollar – and it’s all due to the synergy created by our in-clinic volunteers and community medical and dental partners.  

The bottom line is:  every $1 raised by VIM in operating support funds is leveraged 11 times. 

Although volunteers provide the medical care at VIM, we still have some expenses to cover so that our volunteers can do the work that they love.  VIM’s overhead includes items such as medical supplies, utilities, insurance, salaries for our small staff, licensing fees for our electronic medical records system and charitable pharmacy software, IT support, and building maintenance.

What's Happening?

•  VIM's Diabetes Wellness Program will start again on Tuesday, July 9th.  It's free, and it's fabulous!  If you're a VIM patient with diabetes, this will change your life in a very positive and supportive way.  Class will be on Tuesdays from 5 - 7 p.m., and will continue until August 20th.  A support person or family member is also invited to attend with you.  Please email Joan if you'd like to sign up for the next class, or call the front desk and ask to be put on the list.  (541) 330-9001, push 4.

•  Are you a VIM patient who would like more info on the Affordable Care Act?  Here are answers to many of your questions.
