Partners

As a private, nonprofit organization, Volunteers in Medicine relies on the support of many  individuals, businesses, organizations and foundations. VIM receives no subsidies from the federal or state government.

Community Healthcare Partners

VIM actively recruits other providers in the community to help care for the uninsured. 

Our Community Healthcare Partners include 45 medical organizations and 190 local physicians who provide a variety of professional medical services totaling over a million dollars annually. Some of the services provided include; lab and imaging services, specialty consults, diagnostic and surgical services and physical therapy.

Business Partners

Many local businesses support the VIM Clinic with cash donations and in-kind products and services. Some local restaurants donate dinners to feed our volunteer staff on Tuesday nights and others deliver coffee on a weekly basis. Local office supply companies donate goods to help keep our operational costs low and many other companies donate services, such as garbage pickup and recycling.

Many thanks to our Partners in the community.  Without the many private and nonprofit partners who continue to support us in our mission, the VIM Clinic of the Cascades would be unable to offer healthcare to thousands of uninsured families living and working in Deschutes County.
